Jason Peters

Dr. Jason Peters is a Legacy Advisor with a particular focus on helping families craft a meaningful legacy. He is passionate about helping clients establish and implement values-based strategies using a variety of tools, while promoting healthy relationships within families.

At Transform Wealth, Jason is part of an integrated team of industry experts delivering dynamic and holistic strategies for each client’s needs. Jason has served families in a wide variety of contexts, clarifying values, facilitating family meetings and helping repair fractured relationships. Jason has been a Prepare/Enrich marriage skills facilitator and a Facilitating Open Couple Communication Understanding and Study (FOCCUS) facilitator. He has also been certified as a Prevention and Relationships Enhancement Program (PREP) trainer, an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills trainer, and a former trauma interventionist.

Prior to joining Transform Wealth, Jason served as CEO of Hope Haven Rwanda, an international NGO, for more than five years. As a seasoned non-profit executive leader and coach, Jason has worked on humanitarian projects in 49 countries. Completing his doctorate in 2007, Jason qualified as a Gallup-Certified coach and is a retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel, completing assignments at The Pentagon, the US Air Force Academy, as a faculty member of the Air Force Chaplain Corps College and five international deployed locations. He completed a post-graduate trauma clinical residency with the Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, Texas, in 2009.

Jason earned his Doctor of Ministry in Education degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is a graduate of the USAF Air Command and Staff College. He currently serves as a board member for three nonprofit organizations. Jason has been married to Kimberly, his college sweetheart, for more than 29 years and they have five children and one grandchild.
