Jonathan D. Ahalt

Jonathan D. Ahalt is a Managing Director at Transform Wealth, working with both institutional and private wealth clients. John is a member of the Investment Committee.

Jonathan grew up in Arlington, Virginia and graduated from Miami University (1986) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Following a ten-year career as a professional chef, Jonathan returned to school earning a Master’s of Science in Finance from the University of Denver (2000). He started his financial services career as an analyst at Strategic Capital advisors following completion of his master’s degree. Jonathan began working exclusively with institutional clients primarily on defined benefit plans. The investment fundamentals he learned from his exposure to institutional investing are the baseline for his investment philosophy of creating highly diversified portfolios with long-term investment horizons.

Jonathan actively supports the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance in honor of his deceased mother. He has been an active participant in the governance and support for the Denver Waldorf School which his children attended. Jonathan spends his time away from Transform Wealth with his wife Darlene in South Park, Colorado. He enjoys cooking for fun, driving his tractor, running a chainsaw, skiing, and is patiently waiting for his beloved Washington Commanders to return to glory.
