For more than two decades, Clarissa R. Hobson, CFP® has helped clients achieve their financial goals, and particularly enjoys ensuring that her clients’ financial lives are organized and on track to meet their long-term objectives. As Transform Wealth’s Director of Financial Planning, Clarissa is responsible for establishing and maintaining the high financial planning standards for which the company is known. Recognized for her expertise in educating individuals on financial topics, she has been quoted in a number of national publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Planning Magazine, and Money Magazine, among others. She has also appeared multiple times on Wharton Business Radio’s Your Money program. Clarissa provides comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services to Transform Wealth’s clients, following years of providing retirement and employee benefits guidance at the Principal Financial Group and AmSouth Bank.

Clarissa is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and previously served on their national board of directors. She chaired their Public Policy Committee and Women’s Initiative, and was the board liaison to the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative. She has also served on the regional boards of NAFPA and the Financial Planning Association (FPA), as well as the City of Colorado Springs Investment Advisory Committee, and was the President of the Junior League of Colorado Springs, among other board service.

Clarissa is a 2001 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and daughter Charlotte (who is a competitive dancer and figure skater), wrangling her Bernese Mountain Dog Violet, volunteering with the Denver Colorado Figure Skating Club, and striving to improve her high-altitude baking skills.
